For over 2 years I worked as a UX designer for the online training company Ready Training Online. Durring that time I played a key role in developing a design system for, and key interactions points of their new software.
For this project I seved initially as a consultant during the design system phase of the build. I worked with their in house designer to ensure that the system would be easy to use and elegant. After the project moved into development, I worked directly with the product owner to develop key pages in the application.
Team Dynamics
Working on this project in a freelance capacity required a lot of flexibility in meeting schedules, interaction points, and deliverables. I loved the challenge of working as an advisor to a dynamic software design and development team.
An In House Approach
The bulk of my career has been at agencies. This project provided me with experience working with a focused in-house design and development team. I loved the ability to approach challenges with a long game in mind.
Focusing On the User
The RTO team is laser-focused on providing beautiful and usable software for their end users. It was a privilege to play a role in delivering well-planned and expertly executed solutions.
